I would prefer to own either of the 2 incorrect examples. The correct one has too much stop and the head skull is alittle round....unless the correct head is a young dog. I think that a better example of a correct head could have been used.
I disagree with you Ronny...I think Palazzo is one of the best mastini judges in the world. LINK Baby Blue Kennels

LINK wrote ... 1 more thing ..on the correct head the ear set looks too low. ok two more things lol the 2 incorrect examples have really good bone mass but the correct head...I would be interested in seeing the whole dog because looking at the head...I would guess it does not have great bone mass.
The bone mass should be irrelevant as it is about the head and stoop. I expect that there will be construction pages and such to come also and then we can critique those as and when,
i actually believe that the photos used should be of heads only so that nothing else can be seen or at least as little as possible.
the reason I mention the bone mass is because...the muzzle and head tell much more of complete dog.....a fine muzzle is generally on a fine boned dog...a wide muzzle generally shows the overall bone mass....or lack of. LINK Baby Blue Kennels
