A family member on my husbands side told me that I was CRUEL to crop my dogs ears because it takes away their souls and their personality. She also told me it was CRUEL to own parrots and I should set them FREE! I told her to keep her beliefs to herself. MY birds are in HUGE cages and they are not confined to them and my dogs have more personality than she does. I cant imagine taking my Captive-Bred birds I have owned and handraised since 5 weeks, letting them go(in America) and thinking they could survive. I think that is CRUEL! I like cropping/docking. It is the Standard and should stay that way. To be honest one day soon in the next 5 years it will be ban from the states I can see it now. So i think I will be going to little old Mexico to get my ears done!
Bravo Gonzo. Maybe the libertarians can take hold in the world. Ear cropping in the US is and should be argued as a states rights issue. Each state would have to decide. That being said I am glad I am in Alabama lol. Joe Attaway Mastini Del Pescatore
