| | Thank you, Michele. Bill thinks, and after we talked about it, I agree with him... He believes that maybe... as a newcomer to our IN home/kennel, she was an outsider, and already being uncomfortable.. fearful, was adjusting, slowly. Now, in NC, all the dogs are new to this place, and are even footing, if you will. She is blossoming here. She is so happy. It really is a joy to see. She smiles... I have to get a pic of that and post it.. She really does. She gives me hugs, and kisses... I never, ever thought I would see the day! Or trust her to be so close. She really frightened me, even tho I tried so hard to not be afraid.. The other day, I was heading into town... and she was trying really hard to jump up into my lap, LOL! I was sooooooo happy. (Bill wasn't that excited about her trying to jump into our Explorer's front seat, but, oh well!!! He loves me, so he deals with my eccentricities!) Anyways, thank you, for caring. We all need all the good thoughts we receive! Thank you. | | Another quickie update on our Duchess girl... We had new friends here, on Sunday before we went to the falls, and here is Duchess coming and taking chicken from Carson, just like all the other dogs! To be honest, I didn't think this day would come, at least, not this soon. Just goes to show ya....a little love and persistance....  no aggression, no fear, no hesitation... just another neo. Here is a video from about a month ago..... just roaming around.... no fear.. just Duchy! amazing... really. and Duchess mostly adapted to her environment, herself...
