the bloodhounds get quite big, the ones in the pics the short one is 25-26 inches and the biggest is about 27 I compare height right along with the neos the hounds just dont have the mass although in certain lines, like brighton from the UK ( which I really want a baby from them ) are very massive and heavy boned, all of my hounds are between 75 and 90 lbs
LOL Lori i would say i would be right down but 15 outside of pocatello is closed, hwy 33 is closed and ashton to the MT line is closed I am trapped !!! could hook a couple neos up and mush my way out
DRroolin 1 hers my boy , the pic of him laying down is right before surgery , he tore his cruciate ligament, YIKES ...HE IS ABOUT 120 pounds , and heavy boned , but he is dysplastic , severly . He is the best Dog i evermrt Saint Waylon i hope this link for the pics . Cheers Mel

Sorry to hear he has HD its a big problem in the breed and breeders just are not screening for it and the dogs are paying for it in the long run and the owners who love them. I was looking through ads for pups and emailed a few and no testing at all was being done, even alot of the bigger breeders were not doing it, I get to learn from them before I even think about breeding because all of mine will be tested, I just cant see one going through that.
Well i know , its so sad for Waylon , and I was an an uneducated , buyer when i got him , and so some of the lessons we learn , are very hard , it just breaks my heart ....he is the most amazing dog EVER thus far , and i learned alot about not doing the proper research , its horrible to think that , some breeders dont care , that they are breeding dysplastic , dogs , because the suffer alot , right now Waylon, is on Metecam , to managae the dysplasia and he has almost fully recoverd from the crruciate ligament surgery , And he gets a joint supplement . He is a large boy 120 pounds . (not over weight either)I just thought it was so interesting that u and i have simmiler collection of Dogs! take care Cheers Mel
